We Are Royalty
J’Kweendom was born from a seed of purpose, passion and a belief that royalty is
not defined by status, but by the confidence, dignity and excellence we carry within
ourselves.
The name
The name J’Kweendom is inspired by two powerful concepts: Jalapeo and Kweendom.
Jalapeo represents the planting of a seed. We are about planting seeds of creativity, empowerment, collaboration and legacy.
Kweendom is our unique expression, created from the fusion of Kingdom and
Queendom. It represents a space where both Kings and Queens are celebrated.
Creating an inclusive space where individuality, confidence and greatness can thrive.
Together, JKweendom represents a vision of cultivating a world where everyone can embrace their royalty.
About us
Founded by two Kweens, Dimakatso Mookodi and Mungi Llale. J’Kweendom was created from a shared belief in collaboration, craftsmanship, creativity and purpose.
As Queens, we are passionate about uplifting women in the textile and manufacturing industry, celebrating the skills and talents that help bring our vision to life.
Our vision of empowerment is inclusive, our Kings are co-creators, collaborators, supporters and valued customers who inspire designs that celebrate everyone.
J’Kweendom is therefore a space for every King and Queen.
