Privacy Policy
Plain language, no padding. This is what we collect when you enquire or order, why we hold it, and how to ask us to delete it. J’Kweendom Holdings is based in Johannesburg, South Africa, and this notice is written to meet the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What we collect
When you send a corporate enquiry we collect the name, company, work email, phone number, product interest, quantity, date needed and any order details you type into the form. When you place an order we collect your name, delivery address, email, phone number and what you bought. We do not ask for and never store your card details: payment is handled by the payment provider on their own systems.
Why we hold it
To reply to your enquiry, to pack and deliver your order, to handle a return, and to keep the tax records South African law requires us to keep. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone except the courier who delivers your parcel and the payment provider who takes the payment.
Cookies
This site sets the cookies WordPress and WooCommerce need in order to work: keeping your basket between pages, and remembering you if you log in. Turning those off in your browser will break the basket.
How long we keep it
Order and tax records are kept for five years, which is what the South African Revenue Service requires. Enquiries that do not become orders are kept for two years so we can pick up a conversation where it left off, and then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@jkweendom.co.za and we will answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za.
